Hi, I’m Amelia — founder of Cleohaus, a London-based interior design studio rethinking how homes are designed for people who live with pets.

My work sits at the intersection of interiors, everyday functionality and animal behaviour. I design homes where pet needs are considered from the outset — not awkwardly added in afterwards — so feeding stations, litter areas, storage, resting spots and durable materials feel intentionally part of the home.

Before founding Cleohaus, I spent 8 years in international logistics, where I developed a sharp eye for detail, practical problem-solving and project management. I later trained at the Interior Designer’s Business School, a mentorship-led programme for career changers, where I refined my approach to creating beautiful spaces that work in real life.

Having spent much of my life in France, I’m fluent in French and bring an international perspective to my work. This naturally shapes Cleohaus’ online-first approach and the way I think about homes, lifestyle and everyday living.

As someone who lives with three cats and a dog, I understand the reality of designing around animals — the scratching, the shedding, the odours, the awkward litter box placement, the muddy paws and the need for spaces that feel calm, considered and easy to live in.
